Adoption: 1990-06-05 | ISR-1990-L-79951 Amends section 5 by inserting a new sub-paragraph (b) concerning vacation of position of the President of the National Court. Also amends sections 6, 19, 24 (actions relating out of contracts of labour), 26, 28 (jurisdiction of court) and 31 (insertion of a new section on summary hearing).

Acquisition of Undertakings by Employees (Special Cases) Law, 5746-1987. - Adoption: 1987 | Date of entry into force: 1987-04-01 | ISR-1987-L-4765 Provides for employees to acquire an undertaking, owned by an individual or a body corporate, in which not more than 200 employees are employed and which has closed down completely, is involved in final bankruptcy proceedings or whose main industry has been discontinued for three months. The Government and the representative organisation of employees shall establish a fund, governed by a committee, for the granting of loans to enable co-operative societies of employees to make such acquisitions. The Act lays down conditions applicable to loan applications and sets forth procedures for evaluating applications for assistance. The committee's opinion on an application shall include economic, legal and employment aspects.

Collective Agreements (Temporary Provisions No. 2) Law Adoption: 1975 | Date of entry into force: 1975-07-01 | ISR-1975-L-36143 Provides that the collective agreement referred to in the Schedule of the Law shall prevail over the provisions of any other collective agreement or any contract of employment.

Settlement of Labour Disputes Law 5717-1957. - Adoption: 1957 | Date of entry into force: 1957-03-01 | ISR-1957-L-36153 Provides that labour disputes are disputes on matters such as the conclusion, renewal, alteration or cancellation of a collective agreement, the determination of terms of employment, the engagement or non-engagement and the termination of employment and the determination of rights and obligations arising from employer-employee relations (but does not include individual disputes). In a dispute between an employer and his employees or part of them, the parties to the dispute are the employer and the employees' organisation. Provides for rules in respect of conciliation, arbitration, collective agreement in the Public Service, Labour Relations Council and for related matters. Repeals the Industrial Courts Ordinance, 1947.
