    Requires that the Government and the Judiciary take action to protect the rights of persons with disabilities and victims of the chemical war with Iraq, both at the domestic and international levels.
    Provides for the creation of a special accountability mechanism for the follow up and implementation of this Law.

    Provides for Government commitment to ensure the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities. Article 7, inter alia, provides for publicly funded institutions (Ministries, public institutions, organizations, companies) to allocate at least three percent of employment permits to workers with disabilities.

    Provides for a set of measures and activities for the provision of employment and welfare facilities for disabled war veterans. Article 7, inter alia, regulates working hours of the disabled based on their physical working capacities and psychological state.
