    The operator of a dangerous industry must satisfy to the conditions defined in the annexes to the decree, which include a report on safety, a risk assessment and an internal protection plan.

    Also determines the elements to be examined by the authority during a control. Jobs within the dangerous area should be approved by a committee set up by the authorities, and the operator has to report to the authorities any serious accident in relation with a dangerous substance.

    Decree No. 66/2005 of the Minister of Health on the minimum safety and health requirements concerning workers' exposure to noise.

    Determines the protection that workers must receive if their exposure to noise is below or above the prescribed level. Also sets forth the duty of the employer to make a risk assessment, which includes a noise inspection of the workplace in specific situations. When making the risk assessment, the employer must take into account possible effects on vulnerable workers such as pregnant women, youth or persons with hearing disorders. If the workers' exposure to noise is above the prescribed level, the employer has to provide access to a medical examination, which the worker must undergo.

    Employers have a general duty to create working conditions which do not pose a danger the health without shifting the costs to create these onto the employee. Before opening a workplace, its safety has to be examined. It has to be examined periodically thereafter. The risks of the workplace have to be evaluated.
    The employee can only work in a condition suitable for his or her work, in conformity with the occupational safety rules and with the training he or she has been given.
    Specific information has to be reported in case of an occupational accident.
    Regarding the safety of the workplace, the employer has to consult with the employees respectively with their occupational saftey representatives. Requires the employer to create conditions to allow the occupational saftey representative to exercise his or her rights.
    The employer who does not comply with the occupational safety requirements and thereby endangers the employees' life or health is is liable to fines.

Chapter III makes provision for notification requirements and registration of new substances. Chapter IV deals with packaging, labelling, storage, transport and advertisement of dangerous substances. Chapter V provides for assessment and reduction of risks, Chapter VI for risk control, and Chapter VII for communication of risks, and information exchange. Chapter VIII sets forth criteria for use of dangerous substances and regulatory control of chemical safety. Finally, Chapter IX contains final provisions.

    Fixe les objectifs suivants: (1) examen des conventions internationales existantes en matičre de prévention, notamment la Convention no 155 et la Recommandation no 164 de la OIT, avec l'intention de les ratifier; (2) formulation d'un systčme d'homologation et de normalisation similaire ŕ celui de la CEE, avec l'intention d'adapter progressivement les directives et les normes européennes en Hongrie; (3) établissement d'un systčme d'inspection technique harmonisé suivant les directives de la CEE; (4) définition réglementaire des exigences de la prévention pour les activités dangereuses; (5) financement de la recherche en matičre de prévention d'une importance capitale pour l'économie nationale; (6) amélioration des conditions de fonctionnement de l'Inspectorat national pour la protection du travail (OMMF).
