Concerns the right provided for in section 60 of Labour Act. To be entitled to that right, a woman should inform her employer and introduce a request to the Institute for Health Insurance at least 15 days before.

Provides for the right granted to women working in jobs threatening their health or life or their child's, or if it is necessary for their health. The leave begins from the day of the doctor's certificate issuance.

Promulgated by Decision of 2 July 1996. Modifies provisions related to, inter alia, maternity leave and breast feeding under conditions of sections 57 and 60 of the Labour Code.

Act of 15 March 1996 on maternity leave for self-employed and unemployed mothers (Text No. 429).

The mother is entitled to compulsory maternity leave 28 days before birth and until her child is six months, but can begin her leave 45 days before birth. She can go back to work before six months but at least 42 days after the birth. Also provides that the beneficiary is entitled to a monetary compensation under sections 25, 33 and 34 of the Act on health insurance of 1993.
