    Building (Safety) Regulations (No. 4 of 1955).

    Provides regulations relating to, inter alia, scaffolds, ladders, roof work, cranes, lifting gear, excavations, and demolition of buildings. Part VI relates to dangerous fumes, poisonous substances and protection of the eyes. An abstract of these Regulations shall be posted at each building site (s. 69). Made under Factories Act 1947.

    Provides comprehensive regulations on dock safety. Part I regulates safety measures on docks, including maintenance of equipment to save persons from drowning (s. 5). Part II relates to means of access between ship and shore. Part III governs lifting machinery. Parts IV-VI provide specific and miscellaneous provisions, including a prohibition of persons under 18 from operating a crane or winch (s. 32). Part VII outlines powers of the Labour Authority in relation to the regulations. Made under Factories Act 1947.
