    The Act establishes the Accident Compensation Commission Fiji. Makes provision for the compensation of persons who suffer personal injury or death as a result of an accident in Fiji. Accident is defined in the Schedule as "an accident caused by a motor vehicle in Fiji". This Act repeals the Motor Vehicles (Third Party Insurance)Act 1948 and the Motor Vehicles (Third Party Insurance) Regulations 1949.

    Shop (Regulation of Hours) Act 2016 (Act No. 25 of 2016). - Legislation on-line

    Provides that any shop in any area throughout Fiji may operate for up to 24 hours within a day, including public holidays. Employees conditions of work are regulated by the Employment Relations Promulgation 2007 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1996. The Act repeals the Shop (Regulation of Hours and Employment) Act (Cap. 100) and all the subsidiary laws made under it.
