Provides for obligations of owner of vessel and skipper, and safety requirements on fishing vessels: electrical installations, fishing and other equipment, gas devices, fire protection, ventilation, lighting, workplaces, crew living quarters, etc.

Government Regulations No. 402 of 21 December 1999 on Occupational Health and Safety Requirements for Specific Areas of Activity. -

Requirements apply to workplaces in all areas of activity, except construction and extractive industries. Concerns worker's work position and movements, alarm devices, working environment (inter alia, lighting, noise, vibration, temperature). Available in English.
