    Regulations for the Importation, Handling, Use, Storage and Disposal of Pesticides (L.N. No. 114 of 2006). - Legislation on-line

    These Regulations introduce measures of control on the importation and placing on the market of pesticides. Only pesticides listed in Annex 1 to these Regulations may be imported commercially. Other pesticides may be imported for scientific purposes. Importation of pesticides requires a pesticide import permit and importation or otherwise trading or commercial application of pesticides requires a pesticide dealers license.
    Other provisions of these Regulations concerning packaging and labelling of pesticides and testing by importers and inspection by the Ministry. The Ministry shall issue a document of qualification to approved importers and dealers.
