    Consolidated Act on the Legal Relationship between Employers and Salaried Employees, cf. Consolidation Act No. 68 of 21 January 2005, as amended by section 7 of Act No. 542 of 24 June 2005, section 58 of Act No. 566 of 9 June 2006 and Act No. 312 of 30 April 2008. Contains 22 sections concerning the legal relationship between employers end salaried employees:

    Article 1: Scope of the act and definition of salaried employees ("funktionærer").
    Art. 2-4: Termination of contract (ss. 2 to 4).
    Art. 5-8: Illness, military service and parental leave and death.
    Art. 9: Employees compensation during official mission travel.
    Art. 10-14: Freedom of association, right to bargain and measures for mediation between employer and employee.
    Art. 15: Employees' right to accept other occupation when not having adverse effect on the employee's principal work.
    Art. 16-18: Conditions and compensation related to termination of contract by either employer or employee.
    Art. 19-21: Rules, including for non-discrimination, for announcing for and recruiting employees.
    Art. 22: Date for entry into force.

    The act contains rules partly implementing EU Council Directive 1999/70/EC of 28 June 1999 concerning the framework agreement on fixed-term work concluded by ETUC, UNICE and CEEP and EU Council Directive 2000/78/EC of 27 November 2000 establishing a general framework for equal treatment in employment and occupation.

    Repeals Consolidated Act No. 68 of 2005.

    Regulates the application of the Act, which established a Fund to secure workers' wage claims in case of an employer's insolvency, cessation of business or death. Specifies which claims shall be guaranteed, determines rights to severance pay, paid holidays, etc.

    This Notification regulates the work carried out by the labour office in regard to placement. It covers the organisation and financing of placement offices, the nature of allowances available to encourage workers' mobility, cash benefits, special rules for part-time workers, pensions, holiday pay, and so forth. It incorporates the amendments to the 1970 Act made up to 10 June 1987 (in Act No. 369).
