Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authority Act, 2006 (Act No. 8 of 2006). - Adoption: 2006-11-30 | DMA-2006-L-75325 Establishes the Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authority to provide for co-ordinated and integrated systems of airports, seaports and port services.
The Authority becomes operational on 7 December 2006 (Order No. 37 of 2006).

International Maritime Act 2000 (Act No. 9 of 2000). - Adoption: 2000-10-13 | DMA-2000-L-58114 Provides for the establishment of the Commonwealth of Dominica Maritime Administration for the purpose of operating an international ship registry for the Commonwealth of Dominica, and the creation of a Dominica Maritime Programme for ships on that registry. Chapter 1 deals with maritime administration, radio authority and vessel inspection. Chapter 2 provides for rules of navigation, documentation and identification of vessels, vessel measurement, bareboat charter Commonwealth of Dominica registration, and bareboat charter foreign registration. Chapter 3 deals with preferred ship mortages and maritime liens, Chapter 4 with carriage by sea, Chapter 5 with limitation of liability for maritime claims, Chapter 6 with civil liability for oil pollution damage, and Chapter 7 with investigation of wrecks and salvage.
