Section 2 gives the level of education needed for the eligibility to each of the 16 salary classes. Section 3 provides details for conditions of attribution of salary class for an employee as well as exceptions to the general rule. Section 4 specifies conditions and modalities for attribution of salary steps within a given salary class. Sections 5 and 6 give the rules concerning the salary tariffs. Section 7 regulates the salary supplement for work in hazardous environments. Sections 8 and 9 regulate other special supplements.
Annex 1 gives the scale of salary tariffs according to salary classes and salary degrees for employees mentioned in section 5(1); Annex 2 for those mentioned in section 5(2); Annex 3 for section 5(3). Annex 4 enumerates groups of activities according to the level of dangers with respect to working conditions.

Provides for modalities of remuneration of employees who refrain from lucrative activity for a year in accordance with the competition clause (section 29a).

Regulates salaries and indemnities for stand-by work of persons employed by the State, by an organization financed by the public budget, by state funds or by a territorial sub-division. Section 3(3) provides for equality of treatment irrespective of sex.

Decree No. 161/2000 of the Ministry of Interior regulating certain details of the service of members of the Police of Czech Republic.

The second part of the Notification regulates the working hours and rest time of members of the Police force. The third part regulates the conditions of leave for the exercice of a public function or for studies. The eighth part defines rights of the parties in case of termination of service.

Provides for an extra pay for: a) medical personnel dealing directly with mentally handicaped persons and patients of gerontology services, hygienic care, first-aid service; b) employees involved in special technical training such as intensive monitoring of pupils using technical tools. Annex sets out a salary scale based on the number of years of practice as well as an extra pay for employees involved in management of the armed forces, the police or in fire protection.

Provides for an extra pay for employees whose work is related with extra pressure such as persons dealing directly with job applicants or with persons in a difficult social situation.
