Act No. 260/2011 amending the consolidated Act No. 340/2006 on activities on the territory of Czech republic of institutions of pension insurance of employees from member states of European Union or from other states members of European Economic Space, amending the consolidated Act No. 48/1997 on public health insurance and other norms. The Act makes extensive amendments to Act No. 340/2006 in order to incorporates into Czech legal system Directive 2003/41/EC as amended by Directive 2010/78/EU:

PART ONE - GENERAL PROVISIONS (Sections 1 - 2) - Both sections are amended
PART TWO - ACTIVITIES ON THE TERRITORY OF CZECH REPUBLIC OF INSTITUTIONS OF EMPLOYEES PENSION INSURANCE FROM COUNTRIES MEMBERS OF EUROPEAN UNION OR OTHER COUNTRIES MEMBERS OF EUROPEAN ECONOMIC SPACE (Sections 3 - 10) - Sections 3, 6 and 10 are amended.
Adds new two parts:
PART THREE - CONDITIONS OF OPERATING EMPLOYEES PENSION INSURANCE (Sections 10a - 10g)
PART FOUR - COMMON PROVISIONS (Section 10h)

Amends and consolidates Acts Nos. 582/1991, 590/1992, 37/1993, 307/1993, 241/1994, 118/1995, 134/1997 and 306/1997. Provides for the competencies of the state social security administration and the collection of contributions. Determines duties of citizens and organizations concerning social security, health insurance and pension insurance.

An Act to introduce a new system of social insurance and to regulate the payment of social security premiums including pension insurance premiums, sickness insurance premiums and State employment policy contributions. This Act applies to legal entities and natural persons employing more than 25 persons, as well as those employing fewer persons if their wage records are kept for them by another natural person or legal entity with more than 25 employees. It further applies to small organizations employing at least one employee, employees and self-employed persons. The amount of premium is a percentage rate of the premium base calculated for the decisive period.
