An extensive amendment of health insurance provisions resulting from the effort to consolidate the health insurance legislations of EU member states. Several amended provisions concern transnational health insurance and benefits.

Comprehensive legislation on public health insurance and on scope and conditions for providing health care. Divided into 11 parts. Part 1 contains fundamental provisions. Part 2 deals with insurance contributions, Part 3 with rights and duties of contribution payers, Part 4 with rights and duties of insured persons, and Part 5 with provision of health and medical care and payment for care. Part 6 contains provisions regarding health insurance companies. Part 7 provides for fines and contribution surcharges; Part 8 for health care establishment network. Part 9 contains joint provisions, and Part 10 transitory and concluding provisions. Part 11 lists amendments to other acts. Available in English.
