    Contains provisions on collective agreements, procedures for concluding such agreements (rights and duties of the parties, obligation to respond to a proposal to conclude an agreement and to co-operate, registration of agreements), procedure for dispute settlement, mediation, arbitration, strikes (failure of mediation and refusal to resort to arbitration, solidarity strikes, rights and duties of strikers, prior notification to the employer, co-operation with the employer during a strike, illegal strikes), lockouts (prior notification to the trade union and workers concerned, illegal lockout, workers to received half their average income by way of compensation during lockout)[LLD 1991/2, 1990-CSK 1].

    States the principle of freedom of association, not including religious or political associations. Provides for procedure and conditions of registration of associations at the Ministry of the Interior, and for conditions of dissolution.
