Section 1 provides for the right to form and join political parties and political movements. This right is not subjected to any authorization. The following sections define who can be a member of a political party or movement, as well as the duties of a party or movement towards the State.

Sets out the selection procedure, functions and role of the Public Defender of Rights. The Defender is to carry out his/her work independently and is accountable to parliament (art. 5). He/she is to work to defend persons in relation to the actions of official bodies and other institutions listed in the law (art. 1).

Provides that everybody has the right to manifest freely one's religion or belief either alone or pointy with others, privately or public, in workshop, teaching, religious acts or observance. Everybody has the right to change one's religion or belief or to be of no religious confession.

Article 9 prohibits forced labour, but shall not apply to: a) work ordered in accordance with the law to persons serving a prison term; b) military service; c) service required on the basis of law in cases of natural disasters; and d) action ordered by law to protect the life, health, or rights of others.

In Chapter IV, provides for economic and social rights. States that everybody has the right to choose freely his or her profession and the training for such a profession, to associate freely with others for the protection of his or her economic and social interests. Trade unions shall be established independently of the State. Guarantees the right to strike.

Provides that women, adolescents and disabled persons are entitled to increased protection of their health at work and to special working conditions.
