    Article 2 of the present Law amends article 2, by supplementing the definition of the term "one-parent family", to include the spouse of the single parent that serves custodial sentence for more than 6 months.

    Article 3 supplements the 1st phrase of article 3, by adding new paragraph (e), worded as follows: "married father and his children living together with him within the same household, if his spouse serves custodial sentence for more than 6 months", and new paragraph (f), worded as follows: "married mother and her children living together with her within the same household, if her spouse serves custodial sentence for more than 6 months".

    Amends Laws N 167(I) of 2002, 22(I) and 57(I) of 2003, 136(I) and 194(I) of 2007, 55(I) of 2010, 189(I) of 2011 and 180(I) of 2012 on the Child's Benefit Grant. It specifically amends 1st phrase of article 2, by replacing the definition of the following terms: "General Director", "authorised officer" and "Minister", as well as 1st phrase of article 7 and 3rd phrase of article 11, by replacing the phrase "Ministry of Finance" with the phrase "Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance".

    Provides for an allowance to be granted to mothers who no longer possess the right to a children's allowance, or to any other kind of social benefit or pension. Also stipulates conditions for qualification.

    Act introducing a universal child benefit scheme. No. 314.

    Under the Scheme, a child benefit is granted to a family with four dependent children from the third child onwards.
