    Article 2 provides for the definition of the following terms: “Authority”, “transitional period”, “permanent employees”, “head of section”, “plan of voluntary redundancy”, “concession contract”, “employees”, “Minister” and “hour-wagers”.
    Article 3 provides for the new organisational structure of the Authority.
    Article 4 regulates the current organisational structure of the Authority.
    Article 5 regulates the plan of voluntary redundancy.
    Article 6 regulates the detachment of permanent employees to the Public Service.
    Article 7 regulates the disciplinary offences committed by permanent employees under detachment.
    Article 8 regulates the termination of the detachment of permanent employees.
    Article 9 provides for the transfer of the hour-wagers.

    Amends the following articles of the basic Law N° 16 of 1967 as amended up to Law N° 23(I) of 2012:
    - article 2: adds the definition of "Doctors' Company";
    - article 4: adds new phrase 4, concerning the non acquittal effect of the participation of a doctor in a Doctors' Company, in case of any personal disciplinary liability;
    - article 6B: adds new phrase 2, expanding the scope of the present part's provisions to cover Doctors' Companies.

    Law No. 46(III) of 2005 amending Law No. 30(III) of 1995 ratifying ILO Convention No. 135 on workers' representatives.

    Provides for the protection of workers' representatives against acts of discrimination on account of trade union activity and requires the employer to provide workers' representatives with the necessary facilities for discharging their duty. Establishes the jurisdiction of the Labour Court for all disputes of a civil law nature arising from the application of the Law on workers' representatives.

    Provides for the establishment of no more than two professional associations comprising only members of the armed forces. Constitutions and by-laws of such associations are subject to the approval of the Minister of Defence.

    Establishes and regulates the right of employees to participate in the management of European public limited liability companies, the defining feature of which is their ability to transfer their place of registration between different member States within the European Union without liquidating in one State and reincorporating in another (Regulation No. 2157/2001).

    Law amending the Trade Union Law, 1996 (No. 97(1) of 1996).

    Amends Trade Union Laws 1965-1991 with regard to annulment of a trade union's certificate of registration, and notification of annulment. Section 16 sets forth reasons for which a trade union's certificate shall be withdrawn or annulled.

    This agreement was concluded between the Cyprus Employers Federation, the Pancyprian Federation of Labour, the Cyprus Workers Confederation and the Minister of Labour and Social Insurance. It recognises the right of employers and employees to organise freely and establishes procedures for the settlement of disputes arising from collective agreement negociations.
