Regulates the performance of inspection supervision under the competence of federal administrative bodies, inspection the tasks of federal inspections and their scope, the unique procedure of inspection supervision in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to ensure the execution of laws and other regulations, organization of the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs and management, rights, obligations and responsibilities of inspectors, rights and obligations of subjects of supervision, relations between the Federal Administration and of cantonal inspection bodies, preventive action of inspectors in performing inspection supervision and others issues important for the functioning of the inspection system of the Federation.

Prescribes the performance of inspection supervision in the Brčko District of BiH in order to ensure the implementation of laws and other regulations; principles of inspection supervision; organization of inspection; duties, responsibilities and powers of the inspector; rights and obligations of the subject of supervision; inspection supervision procedure; special actions of inspectors; relations of inspection and other authorities; joint performance of inspection supervision; the status of inspectors and other issues of importance for the functioning of the inspection system in the District. On the day this law enters into force, the following cease to apply: a) Law on Market Inspection ("Official Gazette of FBiH" No. 2/95); b) Law on Labour Inspection ("Official Gazette of RS" number: 8/97); c) Law on Energy Inspection ("Official Gazette of RS" number: 12/93); d) Law on sanitary inspection ("Official Gazette of RS" number: 14/94); e) Law on Agricultural Inspection ("Official Gazette of SRBiH" number: 29/77); and f) the Law on Educational Inspection ("Official Gazette of SRBiH" number: 28/77 and 16/82).
