    Determines the occupations for which workers may be present at the workplace for more than eleven hours a day. Working hours are not to exceed a maximum of twelve hours per day.

    Determines the works or cases which, for technical reasons or for circumstances of the work, require the continuance of work without a rest period.
    Moreover, workers who works in arduous and difficult conditions are entitled to a one hour rest period calculated as part of the effective working hours.

    Defines the industrial establishments where women may not be employed at night:
    - manufacturing destroying and converting materials;
    - shipbuilding;
    - electric jobs (generating, transferring or coupling) or any kind of dynamic works;
    - construction projects and civil engineering; and
    - any other jobs or occupations issued by by the Minister of Labour.

    Employers are prohibited from employing workers outdoors between the hours of 12:00 pm. and 16:00 pm. between 1 July and 31 August of each year.
    The employer is committed to develop a schedule for determining the daily working hours in accordance with the provisions of this Order, and to put a copy of it in a visible place at the facility and work location.
    The workers in the oil and gas installations, as well as those who work in emergency maintenance are excluded from this Order, and the employer has to take the necessary precautions to protect them from sun rays.
    Order No. 24 of 2007 regulating working hours outdoors is repealed.

    Law No. 30 of 2005 with respect to amending certain provisions of the Law No. 23 of 1976 to promulgate the Labour Law for the private sector.

    Replaces the first para. of Article 88 of the principal Law concerning two weeks paid vacation for muslim workers in order to perform a pilgrimage once during the period of his service after at least five years of continuous service to the employer.
