    A new work permit may be granted to a worker upon the termination of the said worker's employment in the following instances:
    I- Term Contracts.
    II- Non-Term Contracts.
    III- For all contracts: term and non-term.

    Repeals Ministerial Decree 1186 of 2010 on the rules and conditions for granting permission to a worker whose employment relation has ended to work for a new employer.

    The law aims to ensure that people with disabilities enjoy all their rights, enhance their respect, preserve their dignity and protect them from all forms of discrimination or abuse, negligence or exploitation.
    The law envisages cooperation among all authorities concerned in Dubai to provide health care services, therapeutic services, rehabilitation and rehabilitation for people with disabilities, in addition to providing educational opportunities that are equal to those provided to their peers at all stages. The law further stipulates providing public services to people with special needs, including the use of roads, public transport, police and judicial services to ensure their integration with the other categories of the community.

    Executive Council Resolution No. 3 of 2014 Forming the Higher Committee for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities in the Emirate of Dubai. - Legislation online in Arabic

    This Resolution establishes a higher committee for the protection of the rights of people with disabilities in the Emirate of Dubai. The higher committee shall be chaired by Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and ten members.

    Law No. 5/2006 Amending Law No. 5/2001 concerning Civil Service in Al Sharika Emirate.

    Several articles from Law No. 5 are Amended:
    1. Article 51 and Article 52 are replaced with the following: an employer is allowed to ask his employees to work extra hours during holidays in certain cases, as long as they are receiving extra payment for those hours.
    2. Article 63 is replaced with: Sick leave of up to 3 days needs to be approved by a governmental medical bored; the employee should report his sick leave within the first two days of his illness. In all cases an employee is entitled to 15 sick leaves a year.
    3. Article 77 (3) is replaced: promotion of level one and two employees is according to qualification under the certain vacancies.
    4. Article 124 is replaced with several charts of the different positions, salaries, professional qualifications and bonuses of the employees.

    The Executive Council of the Emirate of Al Sharika Order No. 5, 2003 regarding Workers in Mosques in Emirate Al-Sharika.

    This Order specifies the equality of wages and rights between the workers in local mosques and workers in the federal mosques.

    Ministerial Decision No. 50/1 of 1980 on the establishment of divisions for the recruitment of nationals and determining the rules and procedures to be complied with.

    Provides that each division shall register employment applicants and vacant posts. Also provides that, for nomination, priority shall be given to the unemployed, the recruits and the employed that are seeking better jobs.
