    Ministerial Order No. 48/1 of 1980 on the formation of a Conciliation Board for the settlement of collective disputes.

    Provides that such a Conciliation Committee shall be formed in each Labour Branch. The board is composed of the Director of the Labour Branch of the area or jurisdiction where the workplace is located; the employer or his representative and a worker's representative selected in consultation with the Chairman of the Committee.

    Sections 13, 14 and 16 regulate foundation of associations. Section 13 establishes that members of any association shall be prohibited from interfering in ethnic, political, racial or religious conflicts. Section 14 provides that no association shall participate in conferences and meetings outside the United Arab Emirates without prior permission from Ministry. Section 16 regulates financial supervision of associations.
