    Dispone que son cooperativas de producción o trabajo asociado las que se constituyen y están regidas de acuerdo con la Ley Nº 10.761, de 15 de agosto de 1946, sus modificativas y complementarias, y tienen por objeto proporcionar a sus asociados puestos de trabajo mediante su esfuerzo personal y directo, a través de una organización conjunta destinada a producir bienes o servicios para terceros, en cualquier sector de la actividad económica. La relación de los socios con la cooperativa es societaria.
    Establece, entre otras cuestiones, que las cooperativas de producción o trabajo asociado se integrarán con un mínimo de seis trabajadores socios y regula la remuneración de los trabajadores socios, la Legislación laboral y previsional y la liquidación o cesación de pagos.
