    Concerns establishment of an administrative authority to ensure the protection of employees' occupational safety and health, especially regarding those standards dealing with occupational accidents, applicable also in particular to young workers, disabled persons and pregnant women. The labour inspectors also ensure that rest periods are taken. To achieve these objectives, the labour inspector visits the enterprises from time to time and also must write an annual report for the ministry for labour and social affairs about such inspections. In the event that an employer does not pay attention to laws applying labour law standards, the inspector first requests that the employer stop violating these laws and if the employer still does not do so, the inspector takes the necessary occupational protective measures, and then gives the employer notice that it must pay a certain amount as a result of its illegal behaviour. Importantes dispositions concernant le travail à temps partiel afin de mettre un terme aux abus: priorité aux travailleurs à temps partiel pour l'obtention d'un emploi vacant chez leur employeur, publicité des horaires de travail, contrôle des dérogations à l'horaire normal de ces travailleurs, surveillance et pénalités. Modification du mode de financement de l'indemnité de maternité, par l'augmentation des cotisations de sécurité sociale, afin de promouvoir l'emploi des femmes. Modification visant à permettre à l'employeur occupant plus de 50 travailleurs (20 à 50 auparavant) de s'opposer à l'absence simultanée pour cause de congé-éducation payé de plus de 10 pour cent des travailleurs exerçant la même fonction.
