    Détermine les modalités du suivi individuel de l'état de santé du travailleur relevant du secteur agricole et notamment les modalités selon lesquelles s'exercent les visites initiales et leur renouvellement périodique en fonction du type de poste, des risques professionnels auxquels les travailleurs sont exposés, de l'âge et de l'état de santé du travailleur. Précise également les modalités de suivi adaptées qui sont applicables aux travailleurs titulaires d'un contrat à durée déterminée, de travail temporaire ou de groupements d'employeurs. Actualise enfin les dispositions du Code rural et de la pêche maritime relatives au suivi de l'état de santé des travailleurs exposés à des risques particuliers ou relevant de régimes particuliers ainsi qu'aux missions et au fonctionnement des services de santé au travail en agriculture pour les adapter à ces nouvelles modalités.

    The provisions which apply to expatriate workers shall apply to the recruitment of domestic workers, their medical examination and residence permits. A domestic worker may not be employed other than by virtue of a labour contract, which is written and certified by the department, in three copies. The labour contract shall include provisions relating to the employment relationship between both parties.

    At date of entry, this Law was awaiting publication in the Official Gazette in order to enter into force.

    El citado reglamento contiene las disposiciones generales para que todo patrono físico que emplea una o más trabajadoras domésticas, cumpla con su obligación de incluirlas como trabajadoras asalariadas en los seguros administrados por la Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS). Impone a todo patrono que contrate una trabajadora doméstica la obligación de reportar mensualmente, en las planillas de la CCSS, la totalidad del salario devengado por su trabajadora, incluidos los salarios ordinarios, extraordinarios y los equivalentes al salario en especie, cuando así corresponda. Determina las contribuciones al Seguro de Salud y al Seguro de Invalidez, Vejez y Muerte y crea la Escala de Bases Mínimas Contributivas Reducidas. Establece el plazo para gestionar el acto de inscripción o reanudación patronal y los requisitos que deberá cumplir el patrón físico.

    The present Law regulates issues regarding the Candidates Evaluation for Recruitment in the Public Service (Temporary Provisions), in view of:
    - the suspension of filling of first recruitment vacancies, of first recruitment and promotion vacancies and of promotion vacancies for 2016 (01.01.2016-31.12.2016), pursuant to the article 17 of the Law of 2015 on the Budget of 2016;
    - the fact that similar regulations may be included in the State Budget of 2017 (01.01.2017-31.12.2017) because of the need for confining the public expenditure;
    - the fact that the aforementioned article provides for the possibility to exempt from the suspension of filling of vacancies those that are necessary to be filled following the proposal of the competent authority;
    - the fact that it is considered necessary to regulate on a temporary basis the process of filling of vacancies in the Public Service, for which vacancies the provisions of the Law on Public Service apply and which fall within the scope of application of the Law on the Candidate's Evaluation for Recruitment in the Public Service, in case those vacancies are to be exempted from the suspension of filling.

    Article 2 provides for the definition of the following terms: “written examination”, “position”, “Law” and “Examinations Service”.

    Article 3 introduces special provisions for the suspension of application of several provisions of the Law and for the temporary insertion of other provisions for the filling of vacancies that are to be exempted from the suspension of filling.

    Shop (Regulation of Hours) Act 2016 (Act No. 25 of 2016). - Legislation on-line

    Provides that any shop in any area throughout Fiji may operate for up to 24 hours within a day, including public holidays. Employees conditions of work are regulated by the Employment Relations Promulgation 2007 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1996. The Act repeals the Shop (Regulation of Hours and Employment) Act (Cap. 100) and all the subsidiary laws made under it.

Determina quiénes se podrán acoger al régimen y exime de multas, durante el plazo de la prórroga, a los patronos que se inscriban en el registro.
