Résumé/Citation: Amendments to the Equal Opportunity Act, 1984, in respect, inter alia, to the definitions of "employee", "employer", "employment", and "impairment,". Section 35 of the principal Act in respect of discrimination by association on ground of sex, marital status or pregnancy, is amended. A new s.35a on discrimination on the ground of sex by trade unions or employer bodies is inserted. Section 72, on discrimination by associations on the ground of impairment, is amended. Further amendments are indicated in a Schedule.
