| Résumé/Citation: | Provides for establishment of Occupational Health and Safety Authority and Occupational Health and Safety Appeals Board. Authority shall be responsible for ensuring that physical, psychological and social well-being of all workers in all work places be promoted and safeguarded by whoever is obliged to do so. General duty of Authority is to ensure that levels of occupational health and safety protection established by this Act and by regulations made under this Act be maintained. Also regulates composition, specific functions and procedures of Authority. |
