Résumé/Citation: Provides for the recognition and registration of trade unions. Trade unions must represent more than 50 per cent of the employees in an enterprise. If an employer refuses to recognize a trade union, the union may apply for compulsory recognition. S. 14 allows strikes or lock outs which arise out of a recognition dispute to be declared illegal. Repeals the Trade Unions (Recognition) Act (Cap. 96A).
