| Résumé/Citation: | Provides for the establishment of a Community Welfare Advisory Council and regional welfare boards and related committees, and defines their powers and functions (e.g. determining welfare needs and drawing up a programme). Also empowers the Minister of Health Services and Welfare (House of Representatives) to make regulations in respect of private hospitals, nursing homes, maternity homes and places where other medical or surgical activities are performed. |
