Abstract/Citation
Provides for comprehensive legislation on trade unions. Chapter I states that the law shall not apply to the armed forces, customs services, bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and certain other military formations. Article 7 prohibits discrimination against trade unions' members. Chapter II governs the creation and termination of activities of trade unions. Chapter III contains the fundamental rights of trade unions (representation and protection of workers' social and labour right and interests, conclusion of collective agreements, organization of meetings and strikes, participation in the definition of employment policy). Chapter IV deals with trade unions committees. Chapter V regulates ownership and economic and financial activities of trade unions. Available in English.
