Second Region

Repeals, inter alia, the Order of 23 Apr. 1928 (LS 1928 - USSR 3 H) respecting the public holidays granted for International Day and respecting special rest days, s. 5 of the Order of 2 Jan. 1929 (LS 1929 - USSR 3 A) respecting the seven-hour working day, the Order of 3 Jan. 1930 to amend the Order respecting conditions of work in the building industry, the Order of 4 June 1933 to issue disciplinary regulations for wage and salary earners in railway transport, the Decree of 26 June 1940 (LS 1940 - USSR 1) respecting the transference to the eight-hour working day and the seven-day working week and to prohibit wage and salary earners from leaving the undertaking or institution without permission, s. 7 of the Decree of 8 July 1944 (LS 1944 - USSR 1) to increase state aid for pregnant women, mothers of large families and unmarried mothers, to extend the system of maternity and child welfare, and to institute the honorary title of "Heroic Mother", the Order of "Glory of Motherhood" and the "Motherhood Medal", the decree of 30 June 1945 respecting leave for manual and non-manual workers, the Decree of 15 Aug. 1955 respecting the leave and conditions of work of young workers, the Decree of 8 Mar. 1956 (LS 1956 - USSR 1) concerning the shortening of the working day of wage and salary earners on days preceding rest days and holidays, the Decree of 26 Mar. 1956 (LS 1956 - USSR 2) to extend the period of maternity leave, and the Decree of 25 Apr. 1956 (LS 1956 - USSR 3) to annul the penal liability of wage and salary earners who leave undertakings and institutions without permission or are absent from them without good reason.
