| Résumé/Citation: | Provides that a child is a person under the age of 16 years old. The Law sets out children's rights and responsibilities, and details the education and care requirements of children as well as their protection. Establishes and sets out the competent authorities in the area of child care and protection. In particular provides that employers must facilitate the employment of parents and guardians so that they can perform their parental duties. They must also provide appropriate conditions of employment for children in apprenticeship or employment. Inter alia, prohibits the trafficking of children. |
