| Resumen/cita: | Provides that the national minimum wage for workers under a contract of continuous employment, fixed term employment, or part-time worker is to be paid R14.50 for every hour of service. Casual workers are to be paid R18.00 for every hour of service. These regulations can not be derogated from by individual or collective agreements. Provides for penalties in case of violation by and employer and also that the Minister may, by order published in the Gazette, exempt any worker or category of workers or sectors of the economy from the application of these regulations. |
