Abstract/Citation
Comprehensive legislation on companies. Divided into 10 parts. Part 1 (s. 1-2) contains preliminary provisions. Part 2 (s. 3-34) regulates constitution and incorporation of companies. Part 3 (s. 35-83) provides for share capital, share holders and related matters. Part 4 (s. 84-160) deals with management of companies and protection of creditors and investors. Part 5 (s. 161-168) makes provision for merger, consolidation and consequential matters. Part 6 (s. 169-191) regulates incorporation and registration of other companies. Part 7 (s. 192-275) provides for winding-up of companies. Part 8 (s. 276-284) deals with administrative matters. Part 9 (s. 285-306) makes provision for civil remedies, civil penalties and offences. Part 10 (s. 307-312) contains miscellaneous provisions.
