| Resumen/cita: | Consolidates and amends law relating to National Defence Forces. Divided into 11 parts. Part 1 contains preliminary provisions. Part 2 regulates organization, command and administration of defence forces. Part 3 provides for appointment, promotion, discharge and conditions of service of members of defence forces. Part 4 deals with defence forces service commission. Part 5 regulates military offences, powers of arrest, search and detention. Part 6 makes provision for jurisdiction of military courts and civil courts, procedure and evidence. Part 7 deals with punishment and execution of sentence. Part 8 provides for court martial appeal court, Part 9 for cantonments and protected areas, and Part 10 for special powers in relation to defence. Part 11 contains general provisions. |
