| Resumen/cita: | The Order contains a variety of amendments to the 1974 Order, which was adopted under the Act on works' councils (published as LS 1973 - Aus. 2). The amendments address the role of the works council in relation to redundancies and dismissals and its review of financial information (ss. 56a, 58(2), 63(3), (4) and (5) and 64). They deal in particular with periods of notice for calling meetings, use of the sex-neutral title "president" instead of "chairman" and judicial resolution of disputes (s. 33(7) of the Order). A new Division 8, entitled "Representation of Young Persons in the Enterprise", is inserted after s. 50. |
