| Abstract/Citation: | Establishes, inter alia, basic categories, objectives and peculiarities of conducting bio-medical research, requirements for ethics of bio-medical research, vulnerable subjects and the protection of their interests, control of the conduct of bio-medical research, formation of regional bio-medical research ethics committees and remit thereof. Implements Directive 2001/20/EC of the European Parliament of the Council of 4 April 2001 on the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States relating to the implementation of good clinical practice in the conduct of clinical trials on medicinal products for human use (OJ 2004 special edition, Chapter 13, Volume 26, p. 299). |
