| Abstract/Citation: | Makes considerable number of amendments to the 2002 Law, in particular amends articles 1 (definitions), 6 (freedom of religion), 9 (right to education), 12 (rights of children with disabilities), 14 (right to live with parents), 15 (provides that every child has the right to be protected from a. abuse in political activities; b. involvement in armed conflict; c. involvement in social unrest; d. involvement in events containing violent elements; e. involvement in war; and f. sexual crimes), 20 (lists those responsible for implementation of child protection), 21 (obligation to implement this law without discrimination with respect to the child's race, religion, class, gender, ethnicity, culture and language, legal status, birth order, and physical and/or mental capabilities), 22 (obligation of government to support parents and guardians). Also amends the following articles: 23-28, 33, 38, 38A, 38, 39, 41, 41A, 43-45, 45A, 45B, 46-49, 51, 53-56, 58, 59, 59A, 60, 64-67, 67A, 67B, 67C, 68-77, 80-83, 86-89, 91. |
