Abstract/Citation: This Law consists of 15 Chapters divided into 69 articles. Chapter I deals with duties, competencies and responsibilities of the Ministry of Public Health. Chapter II provides for practicing medicine and the sanitary professions. Chapter III pertains to hospitals and private clinics. Chapter IV relates to mental hygiene and addiction. Chapter V addresses contagious diseases. Chapter VI provides for vaccination and inoculation. Chapter VII concerns withm medicines. Chapter VIII refers to Potable water. Chapter IX deals with chemical substances. Chapter X provides for unfavourable sanitary conditions. Chapter XI provides for sewerage water and treatment. Chapter XII pertains to craftsmen, handicrafts and peddlers. Chapter XIII deals with burial of deads. Chapter XIV contains penalties and offences. Chapter XV contains general provisions.
