Abstract/Citation: An Act made to provide for the conduct of a referendum for the decision of the question whether or not a Bill providing for the amendment of the Preamble or any provision of article 8, 48, 56, 58, 80, 92 or 142 of the Constitution of the People's Republic of Bangladesh should, after having been passed in Parliament in accordance with article 142 (1) of the said Constitution, be assented to by the President.
