This Law defines the scope of activities of public, private, and cooperative sectors and introduces provisions for ensuring fair competition and preventing monopoly and anti-competitive activities.

Chapter 9, inter alia, makes provisions on privatization and prohibition of anti-competitive activities, discriminatory pricing and abuse of a dominant position.
