| Abstract/Citation: | Contains 4 chapters and 14 sections respecting, inter alia, basic health and safety requirements related to the design and construction of machinery, compliance with the requirements, placement on the market and provisions for use. The Ordinance contains the following sections: Chapter 1: General Provisions Chapter 2: Placement on the Market and Provisions for Use Chapter 3: Procedures for Conformity Assessment Chapter 4: Provisions relating to Entry into Force The Ordinance applies to the following technical devices: 1) machinery, 2) interchangeable equipment, 3) safety components, 4) lifting gear, 5) chains, ropes and webbing, 6) removable mechanical power transmission devices, 7) partly completed machinery. The Ordinance implements the European Parliament and European Council Directive 2006/42/EC on machinery and amending Directive 95/16/EC. It also implements the following national laws: - Law of 26 November 2004 concerning certain technical equipment with the applicable requirements (1016/2004; - Paragraph 40 of the Act of 30 January 2004 on consumer products and services (75/2004). |
