Abstract/Citation: This Act makes provision for the public control on the manufacture of rice and for this purpose requires rice manufacturers to obtain a licence from the Guyana Rice Development Board. Establishment of a rice factory requires a permit from the Board. No person shall manufacture rice without a licence obtained under this Act. A licensee may apply to the Board to become an official unhulled rice grading agency.
