| Abstract/Citation: | Introduces an important number of amendments to the Law on Employment Contracts of 2008 which can be found in the consolidated version of the 2008 Act. Amends, inter alia, article 4 of the Law regulating cases of validity of employment contracts, rephrases article 40 regulating issues of compensation of fees incurred while conducting occupational duties; rephrases article 50 and 51 regulating issues of limitation of work for night shifts and rest time during the day; supplements the Law by a new article 137(1) entitled Compensation of Non-used Vacation Accumulated Before Entry Into Force of this Law; and amends Articles 14 (1) and 14 (2) regulating issues of insurance compensation in case of staff reduction. Also makes minor amendments to the following laws: - Law on Services and Allowances in the Labour Market of 2005 - Law on Unemployment Insurance of 2001 - Law on Public Service of 1995 - Law on Military Service of 2000 (Kaitseväeteenistuse seaduses) - Law on Preschool Childcare Institutions of 1999 (Koolieelse lasteasutuse seaduse) - Law on Boarder Guards 2007 (Piirivalveteenistuse seaduses) - Law on Police Service of 1998 (Politseiteenistuse seaduses) - Law on Primary Schools and Upper Secondary Schools of 1993 - Law on Customs of 2004 (Tolliseaduse) - Law on Imprisonment of 2000 - Law Rescue Service of 2008 (Päästeteenistuse seadust). |
