Abstract/Citation: In Danish and English, the agreement introduces 22 articles divided in the following 5 parts:
Part I: General Provisions - including scope, definitions, persons covered, equality of treatment, portability of benefits.
Part II: Provisions concerning applicable laws - including provisions on coverage.
Part III: Provisions on benefits - including benefits under US laws and Danish laws.
Part IV: Miscellaneous provisions - including administrative arrangements, mutual assistance, confidentiality of exchanged information, documents, correspondence and language, applications, appeals and time limits, transmittal of claims, notices and appeals, currency and fees, settlement of disagreements, supplementary agreements.
Part V: Transitional and final provisions.

The agreement also contains an annex with an Administrative Arrangement for the implementation of the Social Security Agreement.
