The tasks of the committee include, inter alia, taking initiative and giving advisory opinions to the Council of State on seafarers' affairs that relate to the ILO's mandate (section 2). The Ordinance repeals the Ordinance No. 535 of 1989 respecting the delegation for seafarer matters and its amendments.
