Abstract/Citation: |
Amends rule 12(1) of the Industrial Relations Court (Arbitration and Mediation Procedure) Rules, 2002 (S.I. No. 26 of 2002) with respect to referring action to mediation by the court or judge at anytime during the proceedings except if deemed unsuitable. Repeals and replaces rules 23 and 24 concerning the return of the case record and mediator's report to the mediation officer at the close of mediation or in the case where mediation fails. A small amendment is made to Rule 26(3) by the deletion of the phrase "as may be thought reasonable by the mediator" and insertion of the phrase "not exceeding thirty days". Rules 25 and 29 are repealed. |
