Abstract/Citation: Due to the increase in the number of holidays from 10 to 11 days, the circular provides for the re-calculation of working days per year to 250, or 20.83 days per month. Provides that the 11 statutory holidays are to be included when doing a pro rata calculation of the daily or hourly wage. Repeals the Circular on Issues Concerning the Annual Average Monthly Working Hours of Staff and Workers and the Pro Rata Calculation of their Wages (Lao She Bu Fa (2000) No. 8) issued by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security on March 17 2000.
