Abstract/Citation: Makes provision about statutory rights to leave and pay in connection with the birth or adoption of children; to amend section 80F of the Employment Rights Act 1996; to make provision about workers' entitlement to annual leave;and to provide for the increase in the sums specified in section 186(1) and 227(1) of that Act. The Act applies to England, Scotland and Whales with certain sections also apply to Northern Ireland (17-19; paragraphs 2, 45, 49, and 55 to 61 of Schedule 1, and section 11so far as relating to those paragraphs; the entry in Schedule 2 relating to the Income Tax (Earnings and Pensions) Act 2003 (c. 1), and section 15 so far as relating to that entry).
