Abstract/Citation: Makes provision for the establishment of the Commission for Equality and Human Rights and dissolves the Equal Opportunities Commission, the Commission for Racial Equality and the Disability Rights Commission. It makes provisions concerning discrimination on the grounds of religion and belief as well as sexual orientation. It imposes duties relating to sex discrimination on persons performing public functions and amends the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
