Abstract/Citation: Aims at improving the quality and preventing the abuse of fixed-term employment through the application of the principle of non-discrimination. Prohibits unfair or differentiated treatment of fixed-term employees and introduces the principle of equality, according to which fixed-term employees shall be subject to the same working conditions as permanent employees. Stipulates the employer's obligation to enable fixed-term employees to have access to vocational training and consultation as regards their prospects for permanent employment.
